Frankenstein Day of the Beast World Premiere and Official Movie Trailer

We all know the story; We’ve seen the movies. You may think it’s impossible to have a new approach to Frankenstein. Think again. On a foggy winter morning, a priest is sent by raft to an isolated island. He will be performing a wedding ceremony under very mysterious conditions.

The groom is Victor Frankenstein. The young and beautiful bride is Elizabeth. Seven armed and dangerous mercenary soldiers have been hired to protect her from something evil that lurks in the woods, awaiting the wedding consummation.

Victor is the only one who knows the truth about their enemy. His secret will cost him the lives of each of his men, as the creature gets closer to his target: the bride.

The World Premiere of Frankenstein: Day of the Beast will take place at The Portage Theater, located at 4050 N. Milwaukee in Chicago on Sunday, November 27th at 3pm.

“We stayed within the plot to honor Mary Shelley’s legendary original, but we added our own twist to the storyline. It’s a brand new ride on an old name you know well,” said Ricardo Islas, director and producer. “It’s an action packed, old-style Hammer type of movie, completely filmed in Chicago and showcasing outstanding Chicago actors Adam Stephenson, Michelle Shields and Tim Krueger. This is a take on Frankenstein that you’ve never seen and will never forget.”

Drake Mefestta “The Real Vampire” Interviewed on WGN Television

Drake Mefestta who stars in the television show “Jezebeth” as well as the full length vampire horror film “Jezebeth” intrigued it’s audience with an interview on WGN Television that reached out to more than a million people. Actress Linda Blair who is best known for her role as the possessed child, Regan, in the 1973 film The Exorcist also appeared on the show. Drake had first gained worldwide attention with an appearance that included a Live Feeding on the “History Channel” in Canada. The interview on WGN Television aired live on the Morning News Show, Channel 9 Chicago on Friday October 28th 2011. Drake Mefestta has decided to come out of the dark with his condition known as “vampirism” and pursue his career in acting and music.
